Salman is currently a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the RESTORATION project. Previously, he worked as a postdoc at CIRAD in France, focusing on plant-available water estimation and soil mapping in the tropical Amazon region. He holds a PhD in Hydrology & Water Resources, specialising in large-scale hydrological modelling using remote sensing techniques. His expertise includes watershed modelling, flood forecasting, and ecosystem preservation. He is proficient in various computer tools such as GIS/RS and machine learning, and data analysis using the R programming language. Environmental protection is not only a profession for Salman but also a personal passion.
